(Jewish students have been complaining for years about hatred and anti-Semitism on campus. The question is: whose silence has been broken?  Why did it take so long  for local Jewish Organizations to finally acknowledge the problems ?

Jewish Students Take Action
Last week, the UCI student government passed legislation supporting the 11 students arrested for disrupting Ambassador Michael Oren’s speech, and condemning UCI for ‘excessive punishment.’ They did so without knowing all of the issues. Our Jewish students took action, asking student government to defend the free speech of visitors like Ambassador Oren, and demanding an end to hatred and anti-Semitism on campus.
