Huge anti Israel rally at UC Irvine!! President of AFI: “UC Irvine has been a hotbed for anti-Israel and anti-Semitic activism over the past seven years”.

Dear friends, family, and supporters of the State of Israel,

We, the Jewish and pro-Israel students of UC Irvine, are calling upon our
friends, family, and fellow Israel activists to help us in a desperate
time of need. This Thursday, the Muslim Student Union and Society of Arab
Students, two student organizations notorious for their anti-Israel stances, will be
hosting one of the largest anti-Israel protests on any Southern California University
campus since the beginning of the Intifada.

Anteaters for Israel, the pro-Israel organization on campus, is currently
organizing a counter-rally for the event. The rally will be taking place on
Thursday, January 8th, at 11:30AM by the UCI flagpoles, in front of Aldrich
Hall.

UC Irvine has been a hotbed for anti-Israel and anti-Semitic activism over
the past seven years. While Jewish and pro-Israel students have put up a good
fight we have not been able to do enough for our family and the State of Israel.

Over the past 7 years, over 7,000 rockets and mortars have been fired into
civilian areas in Southern Israel by radical terrorist organizations such as
Hamas and Islamic Jihad. The people of Israel have restrained themselves
immensely, while suffering under attack for far too long. Israel has no
choice but to eliminate the threat of terror towards the civilian population of
Southern Israel. While we mourn the deaths of innocent Palestinians caught in
the crossfire, we uphold the value of protecting our family from a threat
that aims to destroy them.

Over the past week, increasing amounts of evidence lead us to believe that
Hamas is largely responsible for any alleged humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
Hamas guerrilla fighters are firing out of United Nation schools filled with
innocent children, hijacking humanitarian aid meant for the Palestinian people, and
executing any Palestinian who speaks out against their radical regime.

We are calling upon other young pro-Israel activists to join us in raising
awareness about the reality of this conflict. The anti-Israel protest already
has 350+ confirmed attendees, and the State of Israel needs our support.
Please forward this notice to ALL THE ACTIVISTS you know in the greater Los Angeles
area.

Please come wearing blue, with signs, Israeli flags, and words of peace to
help us protest the terror that has struck our families so hard. Please
remember, our fight is not against the Palestinians, but rather against Hamas and the
radical ideals it upholds.

The State of Israel is counting on us, but more importantly, the Jewish
people are counting on us.
